snmorris, GREAT QUESTION and it's one I get a lot. So much so look for a video coming soon and or an article where I'll discuss this topic which many hunters disagree on. I'll share how in my opinion there are times and places for both the approach of spreading your scent as well as limiting it.
Real quick though the river property isn't utilized to it's fullest potential by my father. He has never went down the ridge and into the river bottom...which is precisely where I want to get him because I had a hunch a lot of trails and beds were down there (which was confirmed). The deer will come back into the beds within days and other than my father possibly going down their with a climber at some point I doubt the bottom will see another person actually crawling around in it again till after the season when I go down with my father and prep an area for next season in the winter.

Isnt walking around all those hot spots gonna chase those deer off? Or will they come back?
